Clothesline blues

My neighbors aren't amused that I compost and use a solar clothes dryer.  One even offered to let me use her dryer but I told her that our dryer works just fine--that I prefer hanging clothes outside on the clothesline. Trashy is as trashy does I suppose. :)

The garden in winter

My four raised garden beds. The garden isn't dead; it's only sleeping. I love how the blanket of snow resembles crisp white sheets and the beds have newel posts!

The mound in the foreground is compost. I also use the 3-bin system, in the background.

Everything will spring to life soon...snow peas and garden pea planting is in March!
