Raindrops

Today we have rain in the forecast; not snow. Being on the coast we sometimes get bay-effect snow/flurries so maybe we will get a surprise.

In any case, I like when it rains. Rain is soothing to listen to, and nice to watch. And even to get out into and photograph! I have many of these kinds of photos, raindrops on pineneedles. They never cease to fascinate me. And when the weather clears, I can take photos of reflections which is another thing I like to experiement with.

When I see raindrops I often wonder where they've been before--were they dinosaur pee? Were they part of Noah's flood? Were they tears shed due to a broken heart? Perspiration on a working man's brow? If only raindrops could talk!
